Clinician Profile

Meet Michi Tyson

Born and raised in a small town in Austria, Michi’s love of horses started at an early age. Following years of classical dressage training in Europe, Michi changed to Western disciplines after her move to South East Queensland in 2011 and caught the cow bug while working on a cattle ranch and Reined Cowhorse Training Facility in the US.

Michi now lives with her husband, cats, dogs, cows and horses at her own training barn in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and operates Tyson Performance Horses as a full-time Ranch Horse trainer.

Michi is passionate about establishing good horsemanship foundations and building on traditional ranch horse training techniques to develop soft, confident, and capable equine partners in and out of the show pen.

With over 10 years of performance coaching experience, Michi enjoys running clinics as well as her regular private lessons with clients as an opportunity to pass on some of her love and passion for horses, cattle and the traditional ranch lifestyle.
